Seventh International Conference of Museums for Peace

The seventh International Conference of Museums for Peace was organised by the INMP in cooperation with the Barcelona International Peace Resource Center, at Monjuïc Castle, Barcelona, Spain. The conference was held from 4-7 May 2011 with the theme, The role of museums in the transformation of a culture of war and violence to a culture of peace and nonviolence.

The conference was attended by 57 participants from 15 countries. The limited number of seats made the conference into a very sociable and interactive event.
